Built for prop firm evaluation traders

You didn’t fail the eval on strategy

You failed it on the trade you sat in hoping. On the size you added because you were down. MindFrame reads your own journal, names the behaviour costing you accounts, and gives you a rule to break it.

You round-tripped a winner. Up 1.4R at 10:42, closed at −0.6R. You logged "wanted the full target". Third time this month — and on a trailing drawdown it’s the pattern that ends evaluations.

Intervention: Bank half at 1R, stop to breakeven on the rest. Mechanical — not a decision you make while in the trade.

Six features. One problem.

Most traders know what they do wrong. They just keep doing it. Everything here points at that — and nothing else.

AI Behavioral Analysis

Claude reads your journal and names the pattern that fired — chasing a move that already ran, holding past your stop, round-tripping a winner, sizing up to make it back — with one specific intervention for your next trade.

Trade Journal

Log every trade with setup type, emotional state, entry reasoning, and post-trade notes. Automatic P&L and R-multiple calculation.

Pre-Trade Checklists

Build your rules as a checklist. AI cross-references whether you followed your process when things went wrong.

Pattern Analysis

Run Pattern Analysis across your last 10 trades and Claude finds the themes costing you money repeatedly — patterns you'd never spot reviewing trades one at a time.

Performance Dashboard

Win rate, average R-multiple, checklist compliance, and P&L in one view. Know exactly where you stand.

Reads you, not the chart

The analysis runs on what you wrote at the time — the reasoning, the emotion, the note you left after. No broker feed contains that, and it is where the repeat offences live.

How it works

Four steps to fixing your trading psychology.

01

Log your trade

Enter your setup, emotional state, entry reasoning and outcome. Manual for now — and the reasoning is the part the analysis actually runs on.

02

Run Pattern Analysis

Hit "Run Pattern Analysis" to analyse your last 10 trades together, or open any single trade for an immediate take.

03

Get your pattern

Receive a direct breakdown of what behavioral pattern fired — and one specific thing to change.

04

Apply it tomorrow

Run your pre-trade checklist against your rules. Track whether you actually followed the fix.

Why I built this

On 10 August I blew a 25k evaluation.

The move started at 10:00. I entered after 10:15 — chasing a thrust that was already thirty minutes old and close to exhaustion. That was a strategy mistake, and it’s the one I would have written down.

It isn’t what cost me the account.

The trade never reached 1:1, so my stop never moved to breakeven. I sat in it hoping. It round-tripped straight into max drawdown, on a box with about $1,500 of room in it.

The entry was a bad decision. The hoping was a pattern — and if you’d asked me the day before, I’d have told you I don’t do that.

That’s what MindFrame is for. It reads what you wrote at the time, across every trade, and tells you what you actually keep doing. Not the trade — the habit.

Questions

Straight answers, including the things MindFrame doesn’t do yet.

What does MindFrame actually do?+

You log a trade along with what you were thinking and how you felt at the time. Claude reads across your trades and names the behaviour that keeps costing you money — then gives you one concrete rule to break it. It is not a strategy tool. It will never tell you what to buy.

How is this different from TradeZella or an all-in-one trading platform?+

Those are broad platforms — backtesting, broker sync, screeners, education — where journaling is one module and psychology is a tab inside it. Here it is the entire product. If you want breadth, honestly, use one of them; they will always out-integrate us. If you already know your setup and keep breaking your own rules anyway, that gap is what MindFrame is built for.

Do I need to connect my broker?+

No — and you cannot yet. Trades are entered manually today. That is the biggest friction in the product and we are actively working on removing it (screenshot import is in prototype). One honest upside in the meantime: writing down what you were thinking is the input the analysis actually runs on, and no broker feed contains that.

Does it work for prop firm evaluations?+

That is who it is built for. The patterns that end evaluations — chasing a move that already ran, holding a loser past your stop, round-tripping a winner, sizing up to make it back — are exactly what it looks for. To be straight about the limits: it does not yet track drawdown, monitor eval rules, or watch profit targets. It analyses your behaviour, not your account limits.

How many trades before it tells me anything useful?+

Single-trade analysis works from your first entry. Pattern analysis needs history to work with — around ten trades before it surfaces things you would not have spotted yourself. The value compounds; the first week is the least useful week.

Which markets and platforms are supported?+

Futures, forex, stocks, crypto and options. The symbol field is free text, so anything you trade fits. Because entry is manual, MindFrame is platform-agnostic — it does not care whether you execute on TradingView, a prop dashboard or a desktop terminal.

What is free and what costs money?+

Free gives you unlimited trade logging, three pattern analyses a month, single-trade analysis, pre-trade checklists and the performance dashboard. Pro is $19 a month for unlimited pattern analysis plus per-trade checklist compliance tracking. No card needed to start.

What happens to my trading data?+

It stays in your account. It is not sold and it is not shared with other users. Analysis runs through Anthropic’s Claude API. Full detail is on the privacy page.
